Rebecca Weidenhiller has been working as a researcher at ISOB since March 2018 and is involved with project and evaluation support, translation work, writing informational material in English and updating the ISOB Website. 

She was born in Abilene, Kansas, USA. B.A. in Journalism and Germanic Languages and Literature from the University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kansas. Studies in Comparative Literature, Universität Regensburg. Certified qualification in supplementary course of studies "Internationale Handlungskompetenz" OTH Regensburg. Currently enrolled in M.A. program "Management of Intercultural Issues and Development Management" at the OTH Regensburg. Prior experience in field of journalism, exchange programmes, language learning, adult education and English-German translation.

Doctorate in German Linguistics, additional university certification as language instructor, university degree as state-certified teacher for German and history at German "Realschule" schools. From 2011 to 2013 staff member in the subject area of language education as well as instructor in the subject area of German as a foreign language and the Department of German Languages and Literature at the University of Regensburg. Among the courses taught were in the areas of rhetoric, voice training and phonology, phonetics as well as the didactics of phonetics and German linguistics. From 2014 to 2016 student teacher in the subjects of German and history at the German "Realschule." Since September 2016 teacher of German as a second language, social sciences, ethics and vocational sciences in the vocational integration classes at the "Regensburger Land" state vocation school center for students with refugee experiences and migration backgrounds. Since 2017 also teacher for German and communications as well as youth social work for educators at the Caritas professional academy for social education in Weiden.

Engineer and senior expert on transnational cooperation for vocational training, lifelong learning, regional development and European Structural Funds. 

As director of the National Studies and Evaluation Service in the Portuguese Ministry for Employment, she was involved in the process of Portugal gaining accession to the EC. 
As a national expert for Portugal, she was involved in the ADAPT initiative of the European Commission. Since moving to Germany she has been involved in more than 30 projects, as a senior transnational expert and senior content development expert. 
She was also involved in establishing structural funds in European countries, active as a transnational expert for technical assistance.

Cristina Novac was involved from 2011 to 2018 in ISOB´s international projects being responsible for transnational research, communication, reporting and evaluation.

She studied German and Comparative Literature and at the Babes Bolyai University in Cluj, Romania with a M.A. in History of Ideas as well as East-West Studies (M.A. Comparative Cultural Studies and South East European History) at the University of Regensburg (Germany). In addition to her scientific degrees, she is a freelance translator and intercultural communication consultant (with focus on Eastern Europe and Germany) and a job coach.

 

Founder and long time senior partner of ISOB.

Since 1990 he has been responsible for numerous research and development projects for the European Commission, the German Federal Ministry for Education and Research as well as other clients in Germany and abroad. Dr. Stahl worked or the European Commission as an expert in the context of the ADAPT, EMPLOYMENT and EUROTECNET programmes. From 1994 to 2003 Dr. Stahl was Professor for Human Resource Development at the European College in Bruges. 

Dr. Stahl retired in 2008. As a friend and colleague, he supports the work of our institute and will continue to do so in the future.
